‘Tis the season for special events.  And, for narcissists, special events can evoke sabotage attempts.  This could include: holiday parties, family gatherings, weddings, and more.  What should be a joyous occasion can easily become a stressful or traumatic situation that compromises your health and wellbeing.

When I got married 26 years ago this week, my dad almost ruined my special day.  His toxic behavior included a hotel room “lockdown,” smear campaign, and threats against me and my husband.  If I had known then who and what I was dealing with, I could have prepared for the chaos and drama that he created.
